4 Councilman Gossage spearheaded the plan to install a wireless Internet

(or, "wi-fi") service in downtown Apex.  The project created a public-private partnership that reduced costs to the taxpayer. The system - free to customers and the first among all towns and cities in the Triangle - went online in July 2004.  To read more, click here and here.

Gossage is responding to requests to create an online bill-pay system by working with staff to bring this convenient service to our town. Some services are expected to be available later this year.

4 If you've viewed his schedule, you know that Bryan keeps busy. One of the

most common questions he heard was "what is a 'Commissioner', what do you do?"  Bryan reviewed the matter with staff and other Commissioners, then introduced a resolution amending the town's Charter to change Board of Commissioners to "Council." To read more, click here.
