Transportation

• Councilman Gossage has consistently approved funding for the joint Apex/Wake County TRACS program, providing transportation for senior citizens and the disabled living in Apex.

• Councilman Gossage has focused much of his attention on local traffic issues, working to secure:
  - a 4-way stop at Kelly Road/Apex-Barbeque Road
  - funds for signals at Hwy 55/Haddon Hall Drive and at US64/Kelly Rd.
  - improvements to the intersections at Hwy. 55 and Hunter-Olive Chapel Rd. and Hwy. 55 and Salem St.

• Bryan has led the conversation at Town Hall on Quiet Zones at select railroad crossings throughout Apex. These zones utilize tools that more effectively focus the sound of a train's horn directly at a crossing, or eliminate the need for a train to sound a horn at all. To read more, click here.
